...since I updated this blog. Guess I have been a little busy (wonder why...ha)! Over the past few months, we have been blessed with help from family and friends as we adjust to being a family of 4. Parker is now 3 months old- wow! He is a sweet baby, and he loves to smile and coo when you talk to him. He still looks a lot like Eli did when Eli was this age, except Parker has more hair and his hair is darker. Eli is a good big brother and tells Matt & I to "check on brother" when Parker cries. He gives Parker lots of kisses and tries to share his toys with him (as well as his sippy cup). I am very thankful that Eli has adjusted so well!

In May, Parker was dedicated to the Lord at our church on Mother's Day. We were happy to have Matt's parents there for the dedication. We hope and pray that we can raise Parker (and Eli) to love and serve God with all of his heart. Parenting is a huge responsibility given to us by the Lord, and we do not take it lightly. We would love for you to pray for us that God would give us wisdom, patience, grace, humility, and strength as we travel this road of parenthood.

Hopefully, it will not be another 3 months before I get back to this. Hope you have a great rest of the summer! (On a side note, Matt started his 4th year of residency on July 1st. Woo hoo! I am very proud of how hard he has worked, and it is hard to believe that this time next year, he will be starting his last year of residency. We are growing excited as we start looking for where the next chapter of our life will be.)
