3 months old

Yesterday, Eli turned 3 months old...crazy! I weighed him at a nearby Women's Center, and he now weighs 13 lbs, 15 oz! Big baby boy! He was not very happy with me when I stripped all of his clothes off to weigh him, especially since he had fallen asleep in the car. He forgave me when it was all over though. :) Lately, we have been "practicing" rolling over...which really means Mommy turns him from his back to his stomach and then rolls him onto his back again. He seems to enjoy it, and he is definitely getting stronger with his head control. Also, he is so fun to "talk" to. You ask him a question, and he coos back at you his answer. Too funny!

Today, Eli woke up and was not feeling good. He was a lot more fussy than usual and seemed warm to me. He had a low-grade fever so I gave him some Tylenol. Tonight, Matt took Eli's temperature, and it was 101.1! We gave him more Tylenol and called my Mom to see if we needed to do anything else. She said as long as he was eating good and making wet diapers that we just needed to continue to watch him. Two and a half hours later, Eli's temperature was down to 99.4. Thank you, Lord! We are just praying he is able to sleep well tonight and that whatever is wrong will be gone by the morning. It breaks our hearts to see our baby boy sick!

Our friends, Ben & Meredith Moore, are coming tonight to visit us for a few days. We can't wait for them to meet Eli and to show them around San Antonio! Maybe, we will get Ben to change a diaper before he leaves. :)
